My cousin requested to have posted a portrait I made of her in Clearwater Beach Florida, and I find it the perfect way to escape for a few moments from this long winter here in Chicago… So here is, my cousin Claudia, one of the most loving, giving persons I have ever met. She was expecting her second child, Edison. When my aunt, Claudia’s mom saw this portrait bellow she said something very beautiful: “ I just love this image so much because is like a metaphor of what life should always be like, feet on the ground, hands at work and sight to heaven." And that is an every day challenge, trying to find a balance between my day to day endeavors while keeping alive all the intangible, spiritual things that actually give meaning to the hundreds of little chores that life is made of.
