I immediately thought of the sleeping Bear dunes in Michigan. My family and I go camping near this place every year, I usually complain about all the adversities related to the act of "camping" but usually this complains fade away when I come across the view of lake Michigan and all its peaceful beauty. To stop feeling bad that one day all this beauty might disappear because we don't take good care of it, I resolved to print this image above and displayed it in the my bathroom right in front of the shower. So this will remind me and my 8 year old to sacrifice our love for long hot showers. I see her joy and I think of my own as I’m also experiencing the wonder of having a baby to raise for the second time. Every day these little ones are giving us of all these innumerable tender, sweet and funny expressions that we wish we could record second by second and never forget.
